BH FITNESS launches new premium MOVEMIA line

Leading international fitness equipment manufacturer BH Fitness has unveiled MOVEMIA, its brand new premium line of equipment, to the Australian market.

The range, in which the Spanish company has invested significant development resources, is made up of cardio, strength and indoor cycling equipment with the three product families combining connectivity and technology to allow users to monitor their activity in real time, representing an important differentiation point from its competitors.

The MOVEMIA range has been entirely designed and conceived by the company, with the advice of experts in biomechanics and incorporating the latest trends in design and technology for fitness equipment.

The high-end equipment is aimed to ease fitness centres’ bet on digitalisation, and will allow facilities to enhance their digital solutions to members while boosting their customer experience. Explaining how the new range demonstrates BH Fitness’ ability to innovate in the highly competitive global fitness market, Pablo Pérez de Lazarraga, Chief Executive of BH Fitness, advised “sports centres are increasingly demanding more personalization, connectivity and vanguardist design in fitness equipment.

“Through Movemia, we intend to offer something different, a unique value proposition that sets us as a relevant agent in the future of fitness industry thanks to the technological development we have carried out in this new line.”

Alongside with MOVEMIA range, BH Fitness has also launched the BH GYMLOOP user management software, with the aim of helping fitness centres to digitalize sports facilities. It is a digital tool that has been 100% developed by the Spanish company and offers a variety of solutions for managers, staff and club members. For the inception of this software, BH Fitness has created a team of 15 developers who have worked on the solution for more than a year and keep adding new features.

In fitness centres where it is already implemented, BH GYMLOOP is used by more than 45% on average and registers an increase on member retention rate between 5% and 10%, which impacts positively on the profitability of the business.

Perez adds “with these new produces we are redoubling our commitment to technology in order to help in fitness industry’s digitalisation process.

In addition to responding to a demand of our customers and the industry itself: to have real connectivity between all the equipment - cardio, strength and indoor cycling - and the user management solution, not just for part of the equipment.

“In this process, our R&D&I centre has been essential to develop a solution that is 100% open and can be integrated with the most popular management software on the market, thus facilitating a smooth onboarding and a more efficient work.”

In the following weeks, BH Fitness’ partner in Australia, Southern Fitness Wholesale, will be opening two new showrooms in Sydney and Adelaide, where customers will be able to experience the international manufacturer’s newest products and digital solutions.
