Betta Milk announced as naming rights sponsor of Royal Hobart Show
Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania has announced popular Tasmanian house-hold brand Betta® Milk as the naming rights sponsor of the Royal Hobart Show.
The Show, this year being held from 24th-26th October, will be known as the Betta® Milk Royal Hobart Show.
The sponsorship agreement covers the next three years. Betta® Milk is "proudly born and bred" in Tasmania, owned by Australian dairy company, Bega Group. Betta® Milk is a household name in Tasmania. Originating from a group of dairy farmers in 1956, the founders believed that the lush pastures and clean air of Tassie's North West produced some of the best milk in the world.
Scott Gadd, Chief Executive Royal Agricultural Society of Tasmania (RAST) shared “RAST is delighted that two organisations with such a strong local heritage have come together to continue the more than 200 year old Royal Hobart Show.”
Marcus Evans, Regional Sales Manager, Bega Group advised “Betta® Milk has a tradition of bringing high quality fresh milk from Tasmanian farms to Tasmanian families.
“Through our aligned values of supporting local farming and agriculture, we are excited to help to bring the Betta® Milk Royal Hobart Show to Tasmanians for the next three years.”
Gadd added “RAST has now finalised our entertainment line-up and should be in a position in the next two weeks to announce the full Show program, which could include an international children’s favourite character.
“While we await the redevelopment of our new Showground, we’re confident that this year’s Show, based on the Hobart Regatta Grounds, will provide best ever value, better entertainment, and a better bang for your buck. It’s just what’s needed during a difficult period for household budgets”.
