Bangarra Dance Theatre to perform 'Spirit' in Vietnam

Under the Artistic Direction of Stephen Page, Australia's leading Indigenous performing arts company Bangarra Dance Theatre is to perform in Vietnam as part of the 40th Anniversary celebrations of diplomatic relations between Australia and Vietnam.

Choreographed by Stephen Page and Frances Rings, Spirit features treasured moments from Bangarra's internationally acclaimed repertoire, weaving storytelling, dance, theatre and music into an unforgettable theatrical experience.

With airfares generously sponsored by Qantas and Vietnam Airlines, Spirit will be performed at the Hanoi Opera House on 2nd March and then at the Ho Chi Minh City Opera House on 6th March 2013.

As well as performing for distinguished guests, Bangarra dancers will take part in workshops with the Vietnam Dance College and the Hanoi Youth Theatre and participate in masterclasses with the Vietnam Opera and Ballet.
