Bad Fishy Jet Boat launches in Cairns

A new attraction, the Bad Fishy Jet Boat, has begun operating in Cairns, adding to the city's claims as 'Adventure Capital of Australia'.

Operated from Cairns' Marlin Marina by partners Pat McLoughlin and Nikki Giumelli, the attraction offers a high speed jet boat adventure, taking riders through the picturesque Trinity Inlet for a 35 minute tour involving spins, slides, speed and plenty of stunts..

Introducing the new venture, Bad Fishy Jet Boat Business Development Manager Nikki Giumelli explained "we ... noticed a niche area in the tourism industry we believed we could successfully tap into.

"We saw such potential in Cairns as a tourism hub with a good amount of domestic and international passengers.

"Tourism is seeing a resurgence in Queensland and I believe the future of tourism here is looking very bright."

Marlin Marina provides first-class facilities and customer service for a diverse fleet including some of the world's most advanced super yachts and is a gateway to spectacular cruising grounds.

Both the Bad Fishy Jet Boat and the Marina are a short walk from the tropical swimming Lagoon, hotels, shopping, dining, casino and just 10 minutes from the Cairns International Airport.
