AXS selected as the official ticketing partner for CMC Rocks

AXS Australia and New Zealand has announced that it has been selected as the official ticketing partner for CMC Rocks, which will see the AEG subsidiary leverage its Mobile ID technology to provide fans with a “seamless and secure ticketing experience”.

In an update advising that the appointment “further solidifyes our position as a global leader in the country music events ticketing space”, AXS notes that is already the “trusted ticketing partner for some of the most iconic country music events and venues”, including the Stagecoach Festival in Palm Springs California, the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee, the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, and the Ridin' Hearts Festival in Australia.

It adds “the addition of CMC Rocks to our portfolio underscores our commitment to supporting the country music community and delivering best-in-class ticketing solutions.

“This partnership enables us to streamline ticket purchasing, enhance event access, and offer secure resale options, ensuring a superior experience for all festival attendees.
The ticketing platform has also advised that it will be the exclusive ticketing provide for The Killers’ performance at Townsville’s Queensland Country Bank Stadium during their Australia tour later this year.

AXS (pronounced 'access’) is the global ticketing division of AEG (Anschutz Entertainment Group, Inc) partnering for over 1200 venues across the USA, UK, Sweden, Canada and Japan.

In 2022 it partnered with Frontier Touring, marketing its entry into the Australia and New Zealand market.

On entering the market in early 2023, it described it as a “move aimed to disrupt the duopoly that has dominated the region's ticketing industry for over 20 years”.
