Australia’s tourism accreditation program reveals new branding
Following more than 20 successful years of recognising high-quality tourism businesses, the Australian Tourism Accreditation Program has been re-branded.
Aiming to “better promote” tourism businesses, the new Quality Tourism Framework will combine multiple tourism accreditation, business development and awards programs into a single, user-friendly online tool, paired with new, modern branding to promote stakeholders’ status as a Quality Tourism Accredited Business.
A statement announcing the new branding advises “the Quality Tourism Framework enables you to develop your business from start-up through to niche markets and international trade channels, in order to develop a sustainable tourism business that can compete and prosper.”
The new branding will be issued to Quality Tourism Accredited, Star Rated and Award-winning businesses at the start of 2019/20, in time for a consumer marketing campaign.
The Program is managed by the Tourism Council WA.
