Australian Tourism Exchange 2012 a huge success
Perth's recent hosting of Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) 2012 saw more than 2,000 delegates taking part in the biggest travel trade show in the southern hemisphere.
The event attracted buyers from approximately 40 countries and sellers from about 600 companies around Australia while more than 100,000 business appointments took place at the event, giving sellers the chance to discuss products and negotiate contracts with buyers from around the world.
Hosted at the which was held at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Western Australia was represented by 52 sellers and Tourism WA.
As well as the trade show, ATE gave Tourism WA the chance to highlight some of the exciting experiences visitors can have around Western Australia by hosting 46 accommodated familiarisation visits.
ATE 2013 will be held in Sydney from 26th April to 2nd May next year.
