Australian Sports Professionals Association opens 2022 National Sports Census
Aiming to capture a national perspective of the state sports industry by those who are actively engaged in it, the Australian Sports Professionals Association (ASPA) has opened 2022 National Sports Census.
The latest edition of ASPA's National Census is designed to capture a response from every person working in Australian sport - whether they are paid staff, a board member or volunteer employee from a state or national sporting organisation, council or private business.
Introducing the Census, an ASPA spokesperson advised "the Census will capture everyone's sentiment.
“The information captured in the Census will help us understand a truly national perspective of the Australian Sports Industry, and will empower everyone in sport - whether they are a graduate in sports management or a long term industry veteran, to have their say and to have their perspective acknowledged.
“The results are anonymous and the aggregated information will be made available to all ASPA members as well as the sports federations - SportWest, Sport NSW, QSport, Sport SA & Vicsport - to help drive discussions and growth for the industry.”
Now in its fourth year, ASPA is hoping to break the 2021 record where over 1,000 people responded.
Completing the Census will take less than five minutes.
ASPA is an industry association for individuals who work, volunteer or study in sport in Australia - all the way from club volunteers and paid administrators of small state/territory sports to senior executives and Board members of large national sports.
