Auckland’s The Form Room: 'Exclusive, personal, luxurious'

The Form Room, a luxury fitness studio in the Auckland suburb of Ponsonby, has been specialising in delivering in private and highly-personalised training sessions since opening in June.

Dubbed New Zealand's first ‘luxury gym’, The Form Room promotes itself as being 'Exclusive, personal, luxurious' and is aimed at affluent and corporate clients, Membership costs for studio vary, but an all-inclusive 12-week package for a couple reportedly costs $3,800.

Founded by personal trainers Sarah Evans and Jordan Jennings, The Form Room was created through the pair's desire to deliver results in an environment that doesn’t enforce a one size fits all solution.

They want to make fitness and nutrition work for each of their clients in a comfortable and beautiful environment with an experienced and tailored approach.

The Form Room offers a range of upmarket features including high quality fittings, biometric entry and a 160 metre² gym floor with 24 items of Hammer Strength equipment along with weight balls and boxing equipment.

Evans and Jennings’ holistic approach extends to providing a fully-equipped kitchen with a large marble-bench with ingredients to make protein smoothies along with a complementary coffee machine.

Technology includes flat-screen TVs, iPads to access personalised gym programmes, while The Form Room’s own app allows clients to track calories with their own custom-specific meals (based on their own food preferences and lifestyles) to ensure they stay on track to achieving their goals.
