Auckland FC creates New Zealand’s biggest inland beach
A-League newcomers Auckland FC have introduced an artificial beach feature for their home games at the Go Media Mt Smart Stadium through summer.
The club has trucked in more than 100 tonnes of sand to bring the beach to the venue for fans and families attending their home games on 21st December, 1st and 18th January.
The family fun zone, named the AFC Beach Club, is featuring sandcastle competitions, live music, beach games, deck chairs and beachside cocktails.
Auckland FC welcomes wealth manager Alvarium
Auckland FC has also welcomed wealth manager Alvarium to the club as a premium partner.
As of 1st January, Alvarium's logo will feature on the club's game-day shirt sleeve.
Announcing the partnership, Auckland FC Chief Executive, Nick Becker stated "like Alvarium, we at Auckland FC are focused on bringing together the right mix of ideas and opportunities to achieve the best possible outcomes."
