Anytime Fitness launches Anytime Fit Club to raise funds for The Hunger Project

Leading 24/7 fitness chain Anytime Fitness has launched its first ever community outdoor training initiative Anytime Fit Club to help raise funds for non-profit organisation The Hunger Project Australia.

Anytime Fit Club is an outdoor training solution for local communities wanting to live a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life, while helping The Hunger Project Australia eradicate world hunger and poverty through empowerment and education.

Anytime Fitness brand ambassador Shannan Ponton is again lending his support to the charity, having previously helped raise funds with Anytime Fitness co-founder Jacinta McDonell, by creating fitness programs especially for Anytime Fit Club.

Anytime Fit Club will be held in Sydney at Queens Park, Bondi Junction and Granville Park, Merrylands every Saturday at 8:30am from 21st March, then will roll out nationally over the coming months to continue raising money for The Hunger Project Australia.

Participants will provide a gold coin donation to partake in the group training sessions, with all proceeds going directly to The Hunger Project Australia.

Sandi Reay, who started Anytime Fit Club, hopes to fundraise $20,000 for The Hunger Project Australia by this April. Reay will be joining McDonell, on a mission to Malawi, Africa in April to see first-hand what the funds achieve.

Reay explains “it is an enormous honour to be part of such an incredible program and I’ve committed to raising $20,000 as my contribution towards helping communities become self-sufficient and proud of their achievements.

With Anytime Fitness’ company ethos based on changing lives, Jacinta McDonell has also undertakeng ongoing fundraising work for The Hunger ProjectAustralia.

Last year she raised $100,000 for the charity before travelling to Africa, where she was inspired to continue supporting the cause.

The Hunger Project Australia empowers people to end their own hunger by training them in the skills and confidence to feed themselves and their families.

Anytime Fitness and The Hunger Project Australia believe in the same thing – that each and every person has the ability to transform their life and that all people are resilient and inspiring. All we need is to unleash our potential.

People of all ages and fitness levels are encouraged to join in this community group fitness initiative and get behind the cause. Those interested in participating in Anytime Fit Club can do so by registering at:
