Anti Scalping Measure for Green Day Concert
The New Zealand Herald has reported anti-scalping measures around the Green Day concert that will play at Auckland's Vector Arena on 19th December as part of the band's 21st Century Breakdown world tour.
The 300 general admissions standing section tickets, which went on sale this week, have only been available to fans who line up at the Vector Arena's box office.
The New Zealand Herald reports that "the band and promoter, The Frontier Touring Company, say the initiative marks a return to the 'good old days of rock concert lineups' adding that "each person who queues up will be able to buy a maximum of two tickets.
"Tickets bought online, over the phone or at outlets will also be subject to tighter controls, with purchasers initially being issued a receipt only.
"Actual tickets will not be delivered until early November and people who change their address after having booked will need to update their details with the relevant ticketing agency."
