Playmakers already counts up-and-coming basketballers, Ezi Magbegor and Shyla Heal, as global ambassadors and they have been joined by Australia’s Lauren Jackson, Michele Timms and former national basketball team member turned AFLW player, Erin Phillips.
Entertainer, Toni Watson (Tones & I) has joined the program and as well as promoting the World Cup, she will perform at the tournament’s opening ceremony at Sydney Olympic Park on Thursday 22nd September.
Also joining the Playmakers program are former Australian basketballer Andrew Gaze and Cricket Australia’s Alyssa Healy.
