ALFA Set to Launch in Queensland
The first ever ALFA Queensland Industry Forum will be held on Monday 22nd and Tuesday 23rd June 2009 at the Mt Ommaney Hotel in Mt Ommaney and will address improving the performance of aquatic and leisure centres in the current economic climate.
The forum is aimed at aquatic centre managers, recreation centre managers, facility managers, local government professionals, recreation officers, recreation planners, pool supervisors, lifeguards, swim coaches and consultants.
Keynote seesions will be on exercise referral schemes and 101 ways of improving the performance of centres while panel and information sessions will cover how to attract more people to facilities and key issues affecting the leisure industry within Queensland.
The event costs $275 which includes a year's individual membership of ALFA.
