AIS quarantine measures lifted
The Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) has advised that is has removed swine flu quarantine measures.
Following the latest advice issued by Federal Health Minister Nicola Roxon on Wednesday, the AIS quarantine policy is no longer required under the new âprotectâ phase of the H1N1 Influenza 09 response.
The AIS has now returned to business as usual and all previously announced measures are lifted.
This ends the AISâs ban on athletes and staff travelling to Victoria, ends the seven-day quarantine period for athletes or staff who have been in Victoria and ends restrictions on groups visiting the AIS.
AIS Director Peter Fricker thanked the community for its cooperation with the AIS swine flu response.
