Adelaide Venue Management appoints General Manager
Coral Cheney has joined Adelaide Venue Management as General Manager, Functions and Business Events.
Cheney has more than 15 years’ experience in event management and venue marketing, including nine years at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre as Sales and Marketing Manager.
Her experience will play a key role in the continued development and growth of venues operated by Adelaide Venue Management, which include the Adelaide Convention Centre, Adelaide Entertainment Centre and Coopers Stadium.
Welcoming the appointment, Adelaide Venue Management Chief Executive Anthony Kirchner said he was delighted to attract someone of Cheney’s calibre to the role, stating “her strong client management skills, proven sales ability and attention to detail will be invaluable as our venues continue to grow.”
She joins Adelaide Venue Management as a $400 million expansion of the Adelaide Convention Centre is set to be completed next year.
Adelaide Venue Management was established in 2015, and its venues host conferences, exhibitions, business events, entertainment and music events, sporting events and gala dinners for international, national and local clients.
Adelaide Venue Management also has a portfolio of public events, including the Cellar Door Fest, Brickalaide and Santa's Workshop.
