Active Monash achieve Quality Accreditation from AUSactive
Active Monash and its three aquatic, fitness and recreation centres - Oakleigh Recreation Centre, Clayton Aquatic and Health Club and Monash Aquatic and Recreation - have been acknowledged for both service excellence and consistently delivering exceptional programs with Quality Business Accreditation recognition from AUSactive’s service excellence programs.
Providing extensive services in health clubs, group fitness and aquatic programs in the community, Active Monash’s vision of ‘Participate Your Way’ ensures that all members of the community have access and availability of services to suit their individual needs.
Across the three centres Active Monash offer a variety of inclusive group fitness programs catering for all demographics as well as health club services that promote a Member Care methodology to ensure members achieve their health and wellbeing goals.
Noting that the Accreditation with AUSactive is an important step forward for the three facilities in showcasing their focus on service excellence and industry-leading best practice, Active Monash Manager, Tony Oulton commented “the AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation enables Active Monash to remain future focused and recognised and an industry leader in health and wellbeing.
“Our members will benefit from this too by having confidence in the service the health and wellness team provide and that quality control is part of our ongoing commitment to our community. “Furthermore, it ensures that Active Monash continues to improve through this accreditation, ensuring that members and the community are the focal point of everything that we do.”
AUSactive Chief Executive Barrie Elvish said Active Monash’s Accreditation marked the 50th business that has now been accredited through the Quality Business Accreditation program, which is focused on having an outstanding network of exercise professionals and facilities right across Australia.
Elvish added “this accreditation marks a significant milestone for AUSactive, with 50 businesses from our network now recognised as Business Accredited.
“Our Business Accreditation is just one example of how we are continuing to strive for industry excellence and shows our continued commitment to improving the Australian active health and exercise industry for everyone to enjoy.
“We remain focused on activating the nation through empowering and representing excellence, innovation, high standards and leadership across all exercise and wellness modalities”
AUSactive’s Quality Business Accreditation is a formal recognition process in which a business meets predefined criteria and quality standards, assessed by an independent accreditation body.
