ACE Scheme to boost WA Arts and Cultural events

The WA Government is looking beyond traditional sporting events to entertain and excite Western Australians with Tourism and Culture and Arts Minister Sheila McHale announcing a $1.5 million Arts and Cultural Event (ACE) Scheme, to help develop events in fields such as music, fashion and dance.

Minister McHale recently explained that "traditionally, the Government has aimed to develop sporting events and while that is important, we want to broaden our ability to entertain people and promote WA."
