Accesso to introduce ticket booking feature via Google Maps
Leading attractions technology solutions provider accesso Technology has partnered with Google to enable its clients to make tickets available through Google Maps.
Set to launch before the end of the year, accesso clients will have the option to make their inventory bookable on Google Maps, Search and Assistant via accesso’s Ingresso distribution platform, which enables venues to distribute their tickets through global third-party distribution channels in real-time.
When searching for things to do in their area, Google users will be able to purchase tickets to accesso-supported venues and entertainment directly from Google Search, Maps and the Assistant. In addition to basic contact information and hours of operations, consumers will see a ‘Find Tickets’ button in search results (a schedule icon when using the Assistant), which opens the reservation interface where users can complete their ticket purchase.
The engagement solution will enable Google users to purchase tickets for theme parks, museums, live events and other attractions and activities.
Introducing the initiative, accesso Chief Executive Paul Noland advised “this integration with Reserve with Google speaks to the ever-evolving ways guests purchase tickets to their favorite venues around the globe.
“As a supported scheduling partner of Reserve with Google, we’re excited for this opportunity to provide added value to our clients.”
In addition to connecting users to activities and events via the things to do vertical, Reserve with Google also allows users to discover, book and pay for beauty/wellness visits, fitness classes and more directly from Google Search, Google Maps, the Assistant and the Reserve with Google website.
