accesso agrees five year contract extension at Dreamworld
Virtual queuing specialist accesso has had its technology further endorsed with a five year extension to its contract with Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld.
Dreamworld, which includes 50 rides and wildlife attractions, was the first Australian customer to adopt the group's LoQueue solution.
Known as Q4U at Dreamworld, the park will continue to use both the smartphone-powered QsmartSM and the QbotSM virtual queuing device to allow users to wait for their ride without having to stand in a physical line.
Under accesso LoQueue, a suite of patented virtual queuing solutions are available.
accesso, Chief Executive Tom Burnet stated "Dreamworld was the first theme park in Australia to deploy accesso LoQueue solutions and this contract extension is another important vote of confidence in the value and capability of our technology."
At the end of last month, the group predicted improving earnings for the next two and a half years as the benefits of new contracts come through.
It also revealed an exclusive long term agreement with attractions giant Merlin Entertainments, whose brands include, among others, LEGOLAND, to provide onsite ticketing and eCommerce across Merlin's global attractions.
