A Favourite Goulburn Event returns to Belmore Park

Pictures and Popcorn - in the Park, one of Goulburn’s favourite, free, family events will return to Belmore Park to give the community an opportunity to celebrate the start of Summer.

Being the third and final Pictures and Popcorn event for 2018, Goulburn Mulwaree Council’s Events Officer, Angela Remington, hopes to see as many locals in attendance as possible.

"2018 has been a successful year for Pictures and Popcorn, as we have seen the event evolve with two new locations and spread throughout the year, instead of just Spring. We have also seen a dramatic increase in its popularity and we continue to hear positive feedback from the community", said Mrs Remington.

"It's great to bring the event back to its roots in Belmore Park and give the Goulburn community an opportunity to get into the Christmas spirit and celebrate the beginning of the Summer season", she continued.

Themed with all things Christmas, a screening of the classic family movie, ‘Home Alone’, will feature after dark.

The ever-popular event is sure to be an enjoyable night for all, with a range of activities and entertainment on offer, making the evening more than just a movie in the park.

Eat Street will see food trucks line Montague Street to serve up an array of delicious cuisines. The Night Series Markets have gathered a collection of local artisans offering a unique Christmas shopping experience.

The Kids’ Zone is sure to be a hit with jumping castles, rock climbing wall, mobile gaming van, face painting and more. Live entertainment from local acts, including: Ashleigh Chapman, The Goulburn Concert Band, The Bridge Choir and Liz Barling School of Dance, plus a visit from Santa will add to the festivities.

Pictures and Popcorn - in the Park, Belmore Park, Saturday, 1st December 2018, from 4pm.
