5th International Sport Facility Management Program
The MSAC Institute of Training has announced that it will be staging the 5th International Sport Facility Management Program from 7th to 10th November 2011.
Located at the heart of the recently renamed 'Melbourne Sports Hub', the MSAC Institute of Training will be presenting the International Sport Facility Management Program (ISFMP) as the culmination of its successful 2011 Sport Facility Management Series.
The 2011 ISFMP will again provide delegates with an outstanding opportunity to observe and learn from leading experts in the conception, design, construction, planning and management of successful sport facilities for community and events.
Designed to target chief executives; government officials; facility operators; venue, event and project managers; architects and builders; the program is delivered as a four-day interactive style workshop.
Participants from all over Australia and the world will discuss and develop practical tools relating to each phase of the planning, operation and management of major sporting facilities and leave with tools that they can taken back and implemented in a range of recreational facilities. Each workshop will consist of panel discussions, key-note speakers, case studies and facility site tours. The fifth ISFMP will provide delegates with the opportunity to submit a case study to present to the panel and have it analysed and discussed by this rare gathering of industry experts.
Site tours will include Rod Laver Arena, Hisense Arena, AAMI Park, Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), Albert Park sports and community facilities, Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre (MSAC) and the recently developed Lakeside Stadium Athletics and Football Facility.
The 5th International Sport Facility Management Program includes a networking pre-event being held on Saturday 5th November at Emirates Stakes Day, Flemington Race Course. Other inclusions are a cocktail function, conference dinner, transport to all tours and social activities and entry to the National Sports Museum at the MCG.
Early bird registration fees are offered before 16th September 2011.
