2022 World Bathing Day to run with 'Healing Together' theme
Aiming to further promote the global bathing industry, the organisers of World Bathing Day will again celebrate the diverse rituals and traditions that go hand-in-hand with the acts of bathing, cleansing and rejuvenation, while drawing attention to the one in three people on earth who currently lack access to clean bathing water.
With the world recovering from the pandemic, the theme for World Bathing Day 2022 is 'Healing Together', with the event set to involved facilities and locations across more than 50 countries with promotional material being distributed in Chinese, English, Japanese, Persian and Spanish
Introducing the event, Global Wellness Institute (GWI) Chair and Chief Executive, Susie Ellis stated “with this day of celebration comes the responsibility to raise awareness and affirm our resolve to ensure a time where bathing is possible for all.”
World Bathing Day was created by the Bathe the World Foundation and supported by the GWI Hot Springs Initiative, a global forum for hot springs owners, operators and researchers.
