2012 Events Queensland Regional Events Conference heads to Cairns
Events Queensland's fourth Annual Regional Events Conference promises to provide diverse, informative and useful content delivered by some of the industry's best.
The weekend event, being held at the Hilton Hotel, Cairns from Friday 26th to Sunday 28th October, offers the opportunity for event organisers from across regional Queensland to build an instant database of advisors, consultants and suppliers, develop long-term support networks, learn from dedicated experts, and exchange ideas and experiences with fellow regional stakeholders.
With a dynamic program made of keynote addresses, panel discussions, workshops and networking functions, this conference has become a 'must do' for event organisers.
Feedback from past delegates indicated that the skills, networks and knowledge gained by attending the previous conferences has meant that their events have benefited from a more business-like approach to overall management and pursuing strategic planning for future growth and success.
The regional focus of the conference and the opportunity to network with other like-minded individuals and event stakeholders such as Events Queensland staff, tourism representatives and industry professionals is also an added bonus.
