2009 ARV Industry Conference takes new approach
The upcoming Aquatics & Recreation Victoria (ARV) Industry Conference has adopted a new conference format with delegates able to select a specific stream of interest that comprises panel and workshop sessions. ARV intends that this new structure will provide delegates with the opportunity to thoroughly explore the issues raised during the course of the event, and to consider the implications for their organisations.
The 2009 Industry Conference (formerly known as AquaRec) will be held on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th August 2009 at the new Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre.
The Conference will explore the themes of current and future impact of the economic and financial climate; and the current and future impact of environmental factors showcasing high profile and informed key note speakers such as economic and social commentator Dr Keith Suter; Craig James, ComSecs Chief Equities Economist; futurist Richard Neville; and Gilbert Rochecouste a dynamic presenter on building resilient communities.
The Conference has also confirmed that Centaman and Smart Connection have taken up major sponsorship positions, joined by supporting sponsors Roejen and Links Modular Systems.
ARV have also announced that members of the newly formed Australian Leisure Facilities Association (ALFA) can save $100 on the registration cost for the ARV industry conference. To qualify for this member only discount ALFA members must register by 14th August 2009.
