11 lifts to open as Perisher makes early start to 2015 snow season
After 30cm of fresh snow and perfect snowmaking conditions this week, NSW ski resort Perisher is opening its 2015 snow season early, on the morning of Friday 5th June.
Friday will see the opening of the Village 8 Express Chairlift and a beginner Skier Conveyor on Front Valley, while. Saturday morning will see the opening of 11 lifts across Perisher Valley and Smiggin Holes.
The resort will also open two terrain parks open including the Playstation Slopestyle Park and Yabby Flat Park, and the Perisher Express Quad will continue to the top of Perisher Valley for foot passengers looking to check out the beautiful sights.
Saturday night will see night skiing and fireworks on Front Valley.
In March, Persisher was sold to US-based Vail Resorts has for $176.6 million.
