The Y NSW offers firies and families free access to facilities
In response to the continuing bushfire crisis, all RFS volunteer firefighters are invited to access the Y NSW’s pools and gyms free of charge this summer.
Y Chief Executive Susannah Le Bron advised “at times of national disaster, the Y’s role is to support our local communities. Our firefighters are heroes and have been placed under immense stress for the past three months.
“Nothing is more important than our volunteers’ mental and physical health at this intense time, so we are inviting volunteer firies and their families to take a much deserved break.”
Volunteer firies do not need to be Y members for free admission. Partners and children of firies attending along with their loved one will also be admitted for free to 21 of our recreation facilities until 29th February 2020.
