Xercise Pro makes an impact at Wanneroo Aquamotion
In 2009, the City of Wanneroo's Wanneroo Aquamotion underwent a major $13 million upgrade to provide a first class fitness and family friendly leisure centre for the local community.
Since reopening, Aquamotion's prestigious Health and Fitness Centre has been growing from strength to strength with ever improving programs and services for its patrons.
The Centre has invested in new equipment, services and professional development to ensure that staff can offer professional, knowledgeable and friendly advice to customers. The recent addition of Xercise Pro has affirmed high level service provision and supplied Wanneroo Aquamotion with an extra edge inside an increasingly competitive industry.
Wanneroo Aquamotion purchased the Xercise Pro system in September 2011 after an internal analysis revealed a need for a more integrated approach to service delivery in the Health and Fitness Centre.
Although appraisal cards, program templates and personal training booklets were serving their purpose, a lack of consistency and engaging, informative presentation deterred patrons from following through with their prescribed programs and training routines. It was also noticed that members rarely used the ongoing program check and additional appraisal services after their initial consultation.
All of which form part of their membership package.
Since the integration of Xercise Pro members have been commenting on how useful and appealing the program and assessment reports have been, as they directly inform them of their anatomical strengths/weaknesses and how to remedy them. The programs also provide a great range of high quality exercise illustrations accompanied with descriptions that guide patrons through every exercise, building confidence and ownership. This empowerment has translated into our gymnasium environment which is now much more comfortable for people who are not familiar with the equipment or set up.
The benefits to our staff have also been tremendous. The consistent, flexible and detailed functions provide all of our trainers with an effective and efficient tool to engage and motivate members, while sourcing new personal training. Needless to say, retention rates are up, personal training services are up and most importantly, more members are getting results.
Health and Fitness Coordinator David McIlhone explains "Xercise Pro has given my team a new lease on gym instruction and personal training, as well as provided a wide range of resources and flexible tools to build and retain our membership base. The myriad of exercises and reports available provide professional and engaging documents that members can relate to.
