Eye Fitness to distribute Trixter exercise bikes

Eye Fitness (the former 123Strive Australasia) has announced its distributorship of Trixter's X-Bike and X-Dream exercise bikes.

Launched in the UK in 2003, Trixter's first indoor bike, the X-Bike introduced a unique training philosophy and made an immediate impact on the industry - particularly within elite sport.

Claiming to offer a total body workout, the added upper body resistance of the X-Bike leads to up to 55% more calorie burn when the core and upper body are engaged. As a result, the X-Bike quickly became a market leader in the club, education and military sectors.

Speaking of the creation of X-Bike, Trixter Founder and Chief Executive Michael Rice recalls that, prior to the creation of the X-Bike "I found, like millions of people, that motivation was the missing link with most exercise regimes. Instructors and personal trainers are the lifeblood of the modern gym but this model is unsustainable and the standards too hit and miss. Equipment development has got to use todayâs technology to deliver fun, motivation and results."

Influenced by the way in which the video game industry continues to lead the way in fun, interaction and motivation, in September last year Rice launched the X-Dream, which he explains is "the first fitness product to successfully integrate accurate real-life simulation, total body cardiovascular conditioning and a motivational personalised training program.ï"

The X-Dream's virtual reality programming maximises cycle room usage and adds a new level of exercise adherence to the gym floor.

As of 2017, EYE Fitness is now merged with Synergy Fitness.
