World Gym Australia opens new Rouse Hill club

National fitness chain, World Gym Australia, has announced the official opening of its Rouse Hill club, located in the Hills District of Sydney. The opening of the Rouse Hill club follows  World Gym Australia having hit a significant milestone in July with the opening of its 50th club in Lambton in the Newcastle region - marking a new high point in the company’s rapid growth across Australia.

The Rouse Hill 2600m2 facility includes:

  • an impressive 800m2 Main Gym Floor with premium equipment

  • massive functional training zone and cardio zone

  • Reformer Pilates

  • Group Fitness Studio

  • Kid’sWorld child minding

  • Pro-Shop & Barbell Cafe

  • Specialised Personal Trainers

  • Dedicated Wellness Area with Ice Baths and Infra-Red Saunas

From its humble beginnings in 2008, World Gym Australia has evolved into a nationally recognised fitness brand, committed to supporting communities through accessible, results-driven training spaces. Over the past 17 years, the brand’s footprint has expanded rapidly – reaching 40 clubs by late 2023 and now over 50 clubs across Australia.

This growth has been backed by strategic partnerships and investments with ASX-listed operator Viva Leisure taking a 25% equity stake in World Gym Australia, a move that is providing capital and scale to fuel further growth. According to World Gym Australia’s directors, these developments position the company as “the largest big box gym chain in the land down under,” with a surge of new clubs in the pipeline.
