Woman charged over State of Origin urination
A 44-year-old Brisbane woman has been charged with deliberately urinating on her seat at Suncorp Stadium.
Spectators used mobile phone cameras to film the woman's act at the end of the final State of Origin match. They later posted the footage on YouTube and, although the clip was later removed by YouTube for violating the provisions of its community guidelines, it went viral on Facebook and Twitter.
Queensland Police have announced that they charged a woman with urinating in public, stadium management having been able to identify her seat number from CCTV camera footage, allowing police to track her down.
She is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on 28th July.
