Wet'n'Wild launches new Constrictor water slide

Gold Coast waterpark Wet'n'Wild Water World has scaled new heights of waterslide fun with the official opening of Australia's first Constrictor slide.
Featuring the tightest turns in the world, the joins the waterpark's world class line-up of slides and attractions.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks Chief Executive Tim Fisher said that the new waterslide had been revealed in preparation for the park's biggest and best summer yet, stating "this is one awesome waterslide, taking guests on a wild ride through triple 360 degree coils which are the highest banking in the world.
"Guests will experience massive 'hang-time' as they slip and slide their way into the belly of the snake before splashing down into the turbulent water below.
"The Constrictor, which is only the second of its kind in the world, features 166 metres of red and yellow snaked themed slide which has riders hitting speeds of up to 30km/h while banking some crazy turns."
Village Roadshow Theme Parks has invested heavily in opening new attractions and shows at its Gold Coast properties, including the new Justice League 3D The Ride at Movie World and Dinosaurs Unearthed at Sea World.
