Wellness-inspired Fusion brand opens fourth GLOW hotel in Bangkok

The wellness-inspired Fusion Hotel Group has this month opened GLOW Bangkok Riverside, a stylish new hotel overlooking the Thai capital’s Chaophraya River from its vantage point in the city’s historical Dusit district.

Among the facilities available at GLOW are a fitness centre and an outdoor swimming pool.

“In unveiling GLOW Bangkok Riverside, we are honoured to join the panorama of the Thai capital’s famed river skyline,” said Markus Gloor, the Director of Operations in Thailand, who has been with GLOW Hotels & Resorts since 2014.

“This is the fourth GLOW property in the city, and we aspire to offer both our new customers and our returning guests a fresh modern experience at a competitive price, but in an area close to the Grand Palace and numerous historical attractions.”

GLOW Bangkok Riverside’s October opening marks the Fusion Hotel Group’s fifth hotel launch in Southeast Asia this year, following the opening of Fusion Resort & Villas Da Nang and HIIVE by fusion Binh Duong New City in Vietnam in July; preceded by The Ocean Resort by Fusion Quy Nhon in May, and the announcement in December 2023 that the group had launched Fusion Suites Phuket Patong, its first hillside resort in Thailand.

The hotel group, which began with one resort in Vietnam in 2008, has now expanded its footprint to 24 hotels and resorts throughout Vietnam and Thailand.
