After 23 years, Victorian industry training advisory body (ITAB) Verve - Knowledge and Skills have been rebranded as SkillsHub. Creative + Leisure Industries Council.

The organisation explains that "our new name and brand more closely reflect our organisationâs core strengths in connecting Victoria's creative and leisure industries with skills and workforce development opportunities.

"SkillsHub will continue to lead Victoriaâs creative and leisure industries, providing clear and targeted advice on skills development and vocational education and training. We will also continue to help industry to access relevant funded training opportunities to ensure Victoria maintains its competitive edge as our âcultural capitalâ through a skilled and capable workforce."

SkillsHub is a not-for-profit, semi-government funded organisation working as an advocate for training opportunities and workforce development for the creative and leisure industries.

As an industry training advisory body it endeavours to ensure there is strong industry leadership for the training system.

SkillsHub conducts extensive research to define developing trends and skills needs. With these research outcomes, it provides a voice for industry to government on the future training and development needs of the creative and leisure industries.
