VMA looks to recruit new Chief Executive
The Venue Management Association (Asia and Pacific) Limited [VMA] has today commenced the recruitment of a new Chief Executive to replace the outgoing Steve Romer who is leaving the organisation after three and a half years in the position.
Reporting directly to the VMA Board, this role presents the opportunity to lead a settled management team in the delivery of services to an impressive membership portfolio of venues from Australia, New Zealand and South-East Asia, which includes major sports stadiums, arenas, conference and exhibition centres, performing arts centres, racetracks and showgrounds.
With a focus on expanding the membership base, the role is being promoted as being suitable for a candidate from within the venue industry or an innovative leader from a member-based association background.
