Village Roadshow Theme Parks introduce new rides for holiday entertainment
Village Roadshow is set to open three new attractions before Christmas at its Gold Coast theme parks; Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World and Wet'n'Wild Water World.
Two new attractions, the world's first 'Justice League 3D The Ride' at Movie World, and the 'Constrictor' at Wet'n'Wild will open for the upcoming school holidays while 'Seal Harbour' will open at Sea World in December.
Village Roadshow Theme Parks Chief Marketing Officer, Dale Stratford is anticipating some of the best school holidays that the theme parks have even seen with over $10 million in new attractions set to open in the next few weeks.
Stratford explained "this September, Movie World will launch a 3D interactive ride experience where guests will face the most epic battle of their lives on a Justice League-themed ride as they come under alien attack, featuring a mix of state-of-the-art animatronics and 3D technology.
"This is a spectacular ride experience like nothing else in Australia. Superman, Batman and an army of Super Heroes will join guests as they use their 3D laser blasters to stun their way through cities which have been overrun by the evil villain, Starro the Conqueror and his alien spores.
"One of the ride's best features is that it's very interactive, keeping track of each rider's alien stun score so they can not only track their progress, but test their blasting skills against their fellow riders.
"Wet'n'Wild will then unleash new heights of water slide fun with the launch of the mother of all water slides, the Constrictor, these holidays.
"Featuring the tightest and highest banking turns in the world, the Constrictor is an Australian first where riders will hit speeds of up to 30km/h.
"Lastly, Sea World will open Seal Harbour this December, a paradise for seals where guests can get up close and personal with these playful animals."
Village Roadshow Theme Parks is also maximising the value of its VIP Pass multipark ticket which now includes a free upgrade to the exclusive VIP GOLD Pass.
Until 31sth October 2012, guests who buy the annual VIP Pass for only $99.99 will receive a VIP GOLD Pass which, not only provides unlimited theme park entry, but also includes one entry to each of Movie World special events Fright Nights and White Christmas.
Existing VIP Pass holders will not miss out on all the VIP GOLD extras as they can upgrade their current pass to a VIP GOLD Pass for just $19.99 per person.
