Victoria Bowling Club installs new synthetic bowling green

Victoria Bowling Club’s new synthetic bowling green which officially opens today, 26th September, was fully funded and delivered by the City of Ballarat as part of the 2018/19 sport and active living capital delivery program.

The project was delivered in partnership with the Victoria Bowling Club, having been identified as a priority project in the City of Ballarat Bowls Facilities Framework.

The $275,000 project was completed over the past 10 weeks by Sportcrete.

The synthetic green will allow greater participation opportunities for both competitive and non-competitive bowlers of all ages by offering an all-weather surface that can be used throughout the year.

The project was delivered as part of City of Ballarat’s ongoing investment into sport, recreation and active living developments across Ballarat.
