Venue Management School releases international instructor details

The Venue Management School (VMS) has announced details of the two international instructors who will present at the 2012 School.

The School will welcome new international instructor Eric Hart while Cliff Wallace CFE will be returning to present at the School.

Eric Hart is the President and Chief Executive of the Tampa Sports Authority (TSA) in Florida, USA and will be instructing on Safety and Security (to year 1 students) and Enhancing the Experience (to year 2 students) during the School.

Cliff Wallace (pictured) has been the Managing Director of Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (Management) Ltd. since 1995 and is also the Chairman of Hong Kong Shanghai Venue Management (Zhengzhou) Ltd. and Shenyang New World Expo (Management) Ltd. Wallace returns this year to instruct on

Leadership and Problem Solving; and Emergency Management Preparedness - both for year 2 students.

Enrolments for the 2012 VMA, to be held at the Hyatt Regency Sanctuary Cove on the Gold Coast from 11th to 16th November 2012, are still open.

The School has grown substantially since its inception in 1994 to become the most respected professional development program in the venue industry in the Asia-Pacific region, attracting students from Australia, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Japan.

VMS students now graduate with a TAFE NSW Diploma in Venues and Events, opening up some wonderful career opportunities in the venue industry.
