Vector Arena appoints new General Manager
After a worldwide search for a new General Manager, Vector Arena managers QPAM Ltd have appointed Brendan Hines to the role.
QPAM Ltd received applications from all over the world for the position, which Chairman Bruce Mactaggart says is in recognition of the great reputation that the Auckland venue has built in its first three years of operation.
However, they made the appointment in-house, turning to the man who has been Vector Arenaâs Finance and Administration Manager over the last five years.
"We're delighted that Brendan has accepted this new role and we are sure that he will lead the organisation into the future and build on the strength and reputation for excellence we have already achieved."
Hines has worked in a variety of finance roles with large corporations in both Australia and the United Kingdom. Before joining QPAM Ltd he was the New Zealand financial controller for the worldâs largest sports marketing organisation, International Management Group.
He holds a Commerce Degree in Accounting and Economics from Deakin University and is a Certified Practising Accountant of CPA Australia.
He explains "in my time here I'm proud to have been part of seeing Vector Arena establish itself as an Arena of international standing. Iâm looking forward to continuing the great job QPAM Ltd does of attracting an ever-increasing and wide range of world-class acts to New Zealand."
