Todae Solar completes 175kW solar installations for Clubs in NSW
Todae Solar has announced the completion of two of Australia's largest rooftop solar panelling systems, totalling 175kW, on two clubs in NSW.
A 99kW system was installed on the roof of the Euston Club & Resort in Euston while the Rules Club Wagga Wagga installed a 76kW system. The combined 175kW grid-connect solar power system was commissioned as part of the 'Solar in Clubs' program through Clubs' Sustainable Futures and Solar Choice, servicing the NSW Club industry.
The two systems will have a combined expected output of 245,174kWh per year saving the Clubs approximately $50,000 annually.
The systems are expected to not only generate significant energy savings for the Clubs but also have a large impact on the carbon footprint of the businesses. Carbon emissions will be cut by approximately 305 tonnes of CO2 annually - the equivalent of taking 116 cars off the road each year.
The two installations add to the already completed 95kW system installed on Club Sapphire, Merimbula by Todae Solar.
99kW System Euston Club & Resort: the system is comprised of 396 Suntech 250W modules with six SMA Tripower inverters and has an expected output of 140,202kWh per year enough to power approximately 20 homes.
Welcoming the installation, Euston Club & Resort Chief Executive Ray Jones states "part of Euston Club and Resorts' responsibility as a leader in our community is to make sure we're reducing our environmental impact and raising environmental awareness.
"Our decision to install solar on our rooftop, served as a way to further exemplify our leadership. We have already seen several additional benefits on top of energy savings.
"We selected Todae Solar as our preferred supplier based on the entire package they provided us not only the vast expertise within the industry but a viable financial package as well. Todae Solar managed the entire pr oject which allowed us to focus on running the club with few distractions."
75.75kW System Rules Club Wagga Wagga: tThe system is comprised of 303 Canadian Solar 250W modules with four SMA Tripower inverters and is able to produce 104,972kWh per year enough to power approximately 15 homes.
Rules Club General Manager Jack Jolley said that Todae Solar managed the entire process from proposal to installation professionally, explaining "we look forward to an ongoing relationship with them and to seeing the year-on-year benefits of the system.
"As with any construction work, there were invariably obstacles, but Todae Solar was extremely efficient in overcoming and resolving any issues we encountered.
"We see our commitment to our environmental goals inspiring other businesses and residents within our community to fol low our lead in environmental stewardship. We are extremely pleased with solar and are already achieving significant savings on our energy costs."
Todae Solar Chief Executive Danin Kahn is proud of the company's installations, adding "Todae Solar was proud to be selected by the Clubs - Euston & Wagga Wagga - to install solar on their premises.
"We congratulate the Clubs on their initiative to significantly reduce their environmental footprints and act as a leader in their communities (and are) proud to have helped three Clubs within the Clubs' Sustainable Futures Program install a total of 270kW of solar which equates to taking 178 cars off NSW roads every single year."
