Fans can share and see where their friends are sitting through interactive seat maps, integrated with Facebook
Ticketmaster has unveiled the latest addition to their online social integration which allows fans to share and see where their friends are sitting at live events through Interactive Seat Maps with Facebook connectivity.
Delivering a cutting edge opportunity for ticket buyers to involve their friends in their live event plans, fans can visit an event on the Ticketmaster website, select and purchase from available seats via the Interactive Seat Map and tag themselves to their seats. The latest social integration on
Ticketmaster.com.au advances fan engagement and extends the fun and excitement of the live entertainment experience far beyond the walls of the venue.
Ticketmaster Australasia Chief Executive Chris Forbes "from our Dynamic Event Recommendations to our Interactive Seat Maps and Fan Reviews, we are delivering a truly social experience for fans that extends well beyond the initial event announcement and event date."
The first of its kind in Australia, Ticketmaster's Facebook integration with Interactive Seat Maps represents another component of the company's efforts to build social connectivity online.
As Forbes adds "fans have complete control over the information they share. If they choose to tag themselves into seats, they are able to select whether to share their seat information within their network of friends or with the wider community."
