Thredbo and Perisher combine their ski lift passes
The longstanding rivalry between Australia's largest resort, Perisher, and Australia's highest vertical resort, Thredbo, is about to end with the resorts having partnered up to offer their first combined lift pass.
The SuperSki Pass gives skiers and snowboarders a minimum of three days at Perisher or Thredbo and then two more days at the other resort. The pass can be taken within a six day period and can be redeemed for an extra half day free on the day prior to the guest's first full day.
When combined the lift pass offers over 1,700 skiable hectares. This makes it the largest on offer on one pass in the southern hemisphere.
Available from 25th June and 4th September, the pass sells for $499 for adults and $275 for children, representing a saving of $42 on single day tickets.
The partnership between Thredbo and Perisher may lead to other collaborative initiatives between the two NSW resorts.
