Thompson launches new Waterzone/Hydrocare base
Australia's Head Swimming Coach Alan Thompson has formally opened new premises for aquatic industry supplier Robert Savell.
The new base for Savell's Hydrocare Pool Services and Waterzone Treatment Systems in Sydney's Wetherill Park offers bigger space for the business' growing operations.
At the launch, Thompson who has recently spoken of a crisis in Australian swimming if more Federal Government funding is not forthcoming, referred to the many challenges facing the sport, saying "swimming is on the verge of a crisis if we don't get more help."
Thompson went on to outline his coaching and inspirational techniques for swimmers, which Savell described as "very motivating."
Waterzone Treatment Systems provide water treatment systems for a wide range of aquatic facilities and waterparks. They also provide management systems for a wide range of water features including residential developments and prominent landmarks such as Parliament House, Canberra; the National Museum of Australia; the national Gallery and the National Portrait Gallery.
Savell is also the Australian agent for SCS Interactive waterplay equipment, Polin Waterparks & Pool Systems and Wibit aquagames.
