Sydney Showground savours catering award success

Sydney Showground has been recognised at the 2012 NSW Savour Australia Restaurant and Catering Awards for Excellence, awarded 'Best Caterer at a Major Event'.
The award is in recognition of a gala dinner for Showground client Flight Centre, attended by 1,900 people and staged in The Dome.
Winning this prestigious award proves Sydney Showground sets the industry benchmark in hosting and catering for major events within a world class venue, complete with world class food and service.
Sydney Showground General Manager Peter Thorpe said the accolade is a great honour as the judging process not only focuses on the dining experience, but also the sales process, service and wow factor on the night.
