Summit to explain use of sport technologies to enhance performance and drive success

The Sports Analytics Innovation Summit is to provide a platform for a deeper analysis of the need for sporting organisations to invest in sporting analytics, from training and in-game analytics to fan engagement and business management.

Being held at the Etihad Stadium, Melbourne on Melbourne on the 4th and 5th March, the Summit will include discussion topics focused on injury prevention, creating a high performance analytics culture and performance analysis with presentations from information, analytics and performance specialists from Tennis Australia, Port Adelaide FC, Australian Institute of Sport, Hawthorn FC, Sportsbet, Carlton FC and the Vodafone Warriors.

Organisers explain “if 2014 was the year for implementing sports analytics technologies, then 2015 is the time for organisations to use what they have learnt to enhance performance and drive success.”

The event is backed by the Australian Sports Technology Network.
