Sports Science Symposium links with Pan Pacific Masters Games
The inaugural Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games International Sports Science Symposium is set to take place on Thursday 30th and Friday 31st October 2014.
Taking place on the eve of the 2014 Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games, the Conference aims to bring together some of the world’s leading masters athlete research scientists and practitioners to share their knowledge with masters athletes, coaches, sport administrators, health promoters, clinicians and health allied health practitioners working with masters athletes and older exercisers.
The first day of the Conference (30th October) will take place at Bond University while day two (31st October) at the Games Village, the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre (GCCEC).
Day one will include a 'Sport for All' stream hosted the Confederation of Australian Sport and a Sport Performance stream. Day two will link with the GCCEC Sport & Leisure Expo.
The Symposium is supported by Bond University, Central Queensland University, Charles Sturt University and Masters Athlete.
The Jupiters Pan Pacific Masters Games is supported by the Queensland Government through Tourism and Events Queensland. The event is being held from 1st to 9th November.
