Sport SA Launches Inaugural State Sport Awards

Following the successful establishment of the South Australian Sport Hall of Fame, SportSA is now seeking nominations for the inaugural Sport SA awards.
The Awards will recognise the high achievers in South Australian sport along with the people behind the stars - including coaches, volunteers, administrators, officials plus country athletes who perform at an extremely high level outside the international and national spotlight.
Nominations from members of Sport SA are now invited for the Sport SA Awards in the following categories:
⢠Administrator of the Year
⢠Coach of the Year
⢠Country Athlete of the Year
⢠Event of the Year
⢠Official of the Year
⢠Volunteer of the Year
Nominations for the Sport SA Awards will be judged by a Committee of nominated by SportSA members.
The nomination forms are available in the sport awards area of the SportSA website. Completed forms must then be posted to : Sport SA (Awards) PO Box 103. West Beach, SA 5024 by 5pm on Wednesday 20th October.
The finalists will be announced at the 2010 OAMPS Insurance Brokers Sport SA Sports Leaders Luncheon on Friday 29th October 2010.
