Spartan Race Australia launches first ever stadium event
Leading adventure and obstacle race event organisation Spartan Race has announced Australia's first ever stadium event.
To be held at Sydney's ANZ Stadium on 15th February next year, race organisers have told potential participants "this is a unique opportunity for you to be a part of history and compete in the arena that has hosted the Olympics, grand finals, international test matches, big name concerts and now Australia’s first stadium obstacle race.
"Share the stage that your sporting heroes have competed in and be part of an event that will make obstacle racing history.
With unprecedented access, the Spartan Stadium Sprint will offer a challenging 5 kilometre course with more than 30 obstacles including rows, box jumps and "quad busting" stair climbs.
Founded in the USA in 2001, Spartan Race was voted Outside Magazine's 'Best Obstacle Race' in 2012.
Spartan Race is franchised to 14 countries including Australia.
