Softball WA announces new Chief Executive
Softball WA has announced the appointment of Rick Wolters as its new Chief Executive.
Wolters has previously led several State Sporting Associations, including cycling and most recently badminton, and has also led sports departments at both the University of Western Australia and Murdoch University.
He also has extensive experience working with various levels of government, having engaged previously with the Department of Sport and Recreation and WA Police, while also managing delivery teams at Kwinana City Council.
In addition, Softball WA advises that “just as importantly, he has a strong appreciation for community sport, having been an active volunteer for 39 years with his local rugby club.
“These experiences have given Rick a strong understand of both sport management and delivery, and we congratulate Rick and the Softball WA Board on his appointment.”
