Snap Fitness to open at Queenstown’s The Landing
24/7 fitness club franchise Snap Fitness is to open a new gym at Queenstown’s The Landing development.
Since being launched in 2013, Snap Fitness now has over 1,500 locations – including clubs across the USA, Hong Kong and Australia.
Franchise owners and new Snap Fitness team Daniel Parsonage, Kurt Monkley and Hannah Dodd are ready and raring to go, when theif clubs opens in March.
Dodd explains "the Landing is a great location for our community-focused health club
“We’re keen to bring a community feel to the fitness scene and the gym will be focussed on a comfortable, social and friendly environment.”
The 420 metre² gym will be open 24 hours a day, have state-of-the-art equipment and an online service with access to personalised workouts and meal plans, inspiring e-books and helpful tips.
Businessman John Harley will also be opening his latest House of Travel store in the devlopment, bringing a wealth of tourism trade experience to Queenstown. The store will have four staff and will feature the full House of Travel range – from local trips and experiences to everything travellers need to put together their big ‘OE’.
Queenstown construction company Rilean started work on the development in July 2014. Stage One is now completed, with Stage Two on schedule to open mid April 2015.
